159. Nicholas Ray’s They Live by Night: I definitely should have seen this before Thieves Like Us as this was so much better. A superb directorial debut by Ray. One of the most romantic and saddest Film Noir. Man, I don’t know what it is about it, but I am completely in love with Cathy O’Donnell’s face.
160. Nicholas Ray’s In a Lonely Place: Far and away my favorite Ray film and Bogart performance, yet I have nothing more to say about this. See it.
